When I grow up I want to be an author! I have been writing poetry since I was really young, and after I started reading the Harry Potter series J.K. Rowling became my hero. She is so brilliant, and I hope some day my stories are as good as hers. But another reason that I want to be just like her when I grow up, is because she lives here:
I've always admired castles, and in fact I've always been convinced (just ask Brett, it probably drives him crazy!) that someday we will live in a castle. I think I like old castles like this one the best. They just seem to have more character to them. Preferably somewhere in Ireland or Scotland! If you're gonna dream, you better dream big, right?
I'll keep you posted on how that goes, I'm working on it, I promise!

The Schlange's
Our amazing friends Chaz and Shay got married exactly one year ago! Happy Anniversary you guys!! Their wedding was gorgeous, and we were so happy to be able to be there to enjoy the festivities with them. =) We are so happy for them, and we hope that their happiness never ends. Here are some things that we love about being friends with them:
- They are both SO funny! It never fails, no matter what the topic of conversation is they can always make us laugh.
- They are always there when they say they will be! We never have to worry about them canceling our plans, even if we've made them weeks in advance.
- They don't mind just hanging out at home. We don't always like to go out and do big activities (because activities cost money) and so one of our favorite things to do when the four of us get together is just hang out, have a beer, and watch a movie or even just talk.
- They play board games with us.
- Their dog gets along with our dog.
- They would do anything for us if we needed their help.
- They aren't opposed to driving to our house sometimes, and I think that's awesome! A lot of people complain about how far away we live, when really it's not that bad. But it doesn't bother the Schlange's.
- You can always count on either of them giving you an honest answer to any question you ask them.
- They aren't selfish at all, and they love to do nice things for the people they love.
- We have SO much in common.

5 year olds are funny!
Our niece Malia is 5 (and a half) years old, and she is so funny! The best part of her being so funny, is that she's really not trying to be. I overhear her having funny little conversations with her siblings and parents all the time. So I thought that since I am always so entertained by the things she comes up with, that I would share some of the funny things with you!
Here is a conversation she had with her mom the other day about her older sister while we were all sitting in the kitchen:
Malia: Hey Mom.....
Kristi: What Mia?
M: There was this one day, when Beth made me drink pickle juice.
K: She MADE you drink it?
M: Yeah....
K: Did she sit on your chest and plug your nose while she poured the pickle juice down your throat?
M: No....
K: Will then she didn't MAKE you drink the pickle juice, right?
M: I know....and then after she made me drink the pickle juice, I drank some more by myself because I liked it. It's so good!

Things that make me happy =)
I thought it would be fun to give everyone a little glance of the things that make me happy in life. As you will see, I am a pretty easy person to please! So here they are, in no particular order, ENJOY!
My AMAZING husband Brett! ( He is definately number one on this list) I don't know what I would do without him!!
Beus Pond is my favorite place in the whole world. No matter what time of year it is there are always HUNDREDS of ducks and swans. I love to just sit and watch them, and feed them.
I love to spend time with my family and friends.
Someday I will own a Jeep Rubicon...... Someday!
The Ocean!!
Beauty and the Beast has always been (and will always be) my favorite movie!
My sweet puppy Belle!
Mountain Dew
Stargazer Lillies
BIRTHDAY CAKE!! Most birthday cake is great, but this one was by far the best! Brett and Kristi made it for my 23rd birthday this year. It was yummy, Yellow cake with chocolate frosting, the greatest combo there is.
PINK....need I say more?
And last, but not least.....Farkle! If you've never played, you are missing out!

What Luck!!
Oops I did it again. I was out long boarding with my bro (Ryan). We just finished a huge run that took over a half hour. Well we picked up our boards and started walking to our car when I stepped on the side of the side walk and my crappy ankle went out. Ryan laughed because it did not look that bad. Well when I told him I could not walk and he needed to go grab the car he was shocked. Ryan sent me a text saying that's what you get for participating in such high risk sports as walking. Funny Huh? So here is the pics of my ankle when I first hurt it playing basketball and when I just hurt it walking.
This the first time I sprained my ankle playing basketball.
This is what happens when I walk

8 Years Ago Today!
Wow!! 8 years ago today is the day that Brett and I officially started dating. I can't belive that it has been that long! When you say 8 years it seems like forever, but when I look back on the time it doesn't seem like that long ago, really. I am so lucky to have such an AWESOME guy like him as my husband! We always have so much fun together, and I can't wait to see what the next 8 years brings for us.
Brett -
I can't imagine spending my years with anyone but you! I know I tell you this all the time, but you are my favorite person in the world! I love you!!
Kaylyn
