When I Grow Up.....

When I grow up I want to be an author! I have been writing poetry since I was really young, and after I started reading the Harry Potter series J.K. Rowling became my hero. She is so brilliant, and I hope some day my stories are as good as hers. But another reason that I want to be just like her when I grow up, is because she lives here:

I've always admired castles, and in fact I've always been convinced (just ask Brett, it probably drives him crazy!) that someday we will live in a castle. I think I like old castles like this one the best. They just seem to have more character to them. Preferably somewhere in Ireland or Scotland! If you're gonna dream, you better dream big, right?
I'll keep you posted on how that goes, I'm working on it, I promise!

  1. I had no idea that you liked to write and that you wanted to live in a castle. That does sound fun. My wish for you is that one day you can! And live happily ever after! You should keep writing because I love reading your blog so i know you are good:)

  3. I love that castle! I would love to life in a castle someday. However I would need many of today's luxuries that I have become accustom to. I have been in some castles and they really have nothing except walls and rugs. (and electricity that has been put in so people can take tours). Yes, I need more than the 1600s can provide. haha.

  7. I don't know about posting my poetry, my sister in law was seriously disturbed by some of it, and told me I was scaring her. She then said she must have lived in a bubble all her life....some of it's pretty sad stuff. But I'll think about it. I promise that my books won't be like that, they are going to be happy stories. =)
